Eutelsat supplies bandwidth for IP backbone connectivity to Internet Service Providers, and to service providers offering tunkey broadband access solutions. We have also developed a suite of value-added services which includes D-STAR and D-SAT. 

The D-STAR service, supplied by Skylogic enables small terminals to benefit from always-on broadband connectivity. In addition to supplying a single work station or a local network, D-STAR can serve Wi-Fi hot spots or powerline networks.

The D-SAT service functions with dynamic bandwidth assignment, which makes it particularly adapted for ad hoc broadband requirements for video-conferencing, telemedicine and connectivity for civil and military marine fleets. 

In 2010, Eutelsat launched KA-SAT, with our Tooway™ next-generation broadband, bi-directioal, DSL-like service that is a faster and more flexible data services into small antennas, at very competitive prices to terrestrial providers. Eutelsat America provides a complete line of data services through Skylogic (a Eutelsat company) Through Skyloic's (Turin, Italy) D-STAR product family, Eutelsat America can provide package bandwidth solutions that are specifically geared towards broadband access, LAN interconnection and IP multicasting.

Our Services provide one or two way connectivity that includes space segment, point-to-point connectivity, internet connectivity and installation through our established network using our ViaSat hubs as well as other established hardware vendors such as Comtech and iDirect. We are one of the largest operators of data hubs in the world with over 8000 active terminal deployed.

Some of the many applications being run on our fleet today include VoIP transport (telephony), distance learning, telemedicine, and disaster recovery. Our solutions are quick to deploy and bandwidth can be easily upgraded.
