TURNKEY TELEPORT CAPABILITY

Our teleports in Europe offers an extensive range of video services. We have two teleports operational today, Rambouillet Teleport outside Paris and Skypark Teleport in Turin, Italy with a brand new teleport opening up in Sardinia. All our teleports have a wide geographic coverage enabling services that cover Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Our teleport at Rambouillet, near Paris, offers an extensive range of integrated services for transmitting video signals (including terrestrial routing, encoding, digital multiplexing and uplinking), turnaround services, point-topoint connections and Internet trunking. The teleport is also fully equipped for HD broadcasting, from encoding a raw signal in MPEG4, to encryption
and broadcasting.

The teleport's wide geographic coverage area enables services to be uplinked to Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and large parts of Asia and the Americas. Whether you require a complete turnkey service, you need to transport a signal terrestrially to be multiplexed and transmitted, or you simply want to uplink your content, Eutelsat has a wide choice of solutions. Our turnkey services include equipment provisioning, space capacity, teleport services, Internet access and voice termination.

Most services are provided via DVB; data, video or voice content is multiplexed over a single DVB pipe, enabling clients to optimise use of satellite capacity and ground facilities. There are twelve DVB muxes on-air, which are transmitted to seven orbital positions. Return traffic is normally via SCPC.

All of our facilities are fully equipped for High Definition (HD) or Standard Definition (SD) broadcasting using MPEG 2 or MPEG 4 and are DVB-S compliant. We can offer a wide array of custom solutions such as playback, ad insertion and encryption services. Eutelsat is proud to offer a full video solution on an established programming platform that includes space segment, uplink, downlink or turnaround, encoding, video multiplexing and encryption. We can even provide access to a centralized administration feature and Internet based Subscriber Management Service (SMS).
